Five out of Burscough’s next six games are at home, so represent a great opportunity to find their firm again, especially their scoring form.
Saturday sees Burscough’s tenants City of Liverpool as the away team at the Community Ground, and Burscough will be very hopeful of a good result, the lads from Liverpool currently sit in 21st place in the North West Counties Premier Division, having been relegated from the Northern Premier League at the end of last season.
A good attendance is expected for what should be a good game.
Tuesday 7th October brings another local derby encounter at Pilkington make the trip down the Rainford Bye Pass, the Glassmen are one of the surprise teams this season, many expected them to struggle after just avoiding relegation last season, but they sit just one place behind the Linnets in the table on 20 points from 13 games, they are far from struggling.
Again another good crowd is expected.
Saturday 11th October brings the one away game, that in the Macron Cup at Atherton LR, there will be more about that game next week.
